01 · Starting without a playbook
I learned to move before the path was perfectly clear.
What I had at the beginning was a willingness to work hard, learn quickly, and keep moving forward—even when the answer was not obvious.
My U.S. career began in St. Louis as a pricing analyst. Over the next six years at MTM Health, I earned multiple promotions and grew from analytics into building products, teams, and technology.
Later, I moved to Seattle and joined AWS. That chapter taught me how large-scale platforms are built—and how meaningful change actually happens inside complex organizations.
Today, I serve as a Director of Software Engineering in Walmart Health & Benefits Technology. But the through-line has never been the title. It has been the opportunity to step into ambiguity, learn through the difficult parts, and build something better.
Sometimes that has meant a product. Sometimes a team. Sometimes it has meant creating a path that did not previously exist.
